Thrifter rescued pickings from a home built in Coral Gables from 1965.
This new collection features hand-picked items thrifted just moments before the demolition of a home that dates back to 1965!
The Adventure Bound Leather Jacket: This rare jacket hails from Korea and was the first item to catch our attention from this mysterious home that was abandoned after being sold. Along with the home, it would have been lost to the demolition. We believe this fact alone gives this piece a unique story of survival and a testament that not all trash is trash. We are thrilled that we were able to rescue it and offer it for sale to a new home and owner! Keep scrolling for more amazing finds from this one-of-a-kind story!
Let's take a trip down memory lane! Remember these? Also hidden in this gem were these two cassette players/recorders! These old-school predecessors of the now ubiquitous iPod were another cool thrift find and serve as a wonderful nostalgic relic of the not-so-distant past. And they are fully functional - if you know how to use them, of course! Watch the video below to see how new age children try to use these cassette players!
