If you’re at all familiar with Thrifter (and thrifting in general), you’re also aware that we love attending local gatherings of artists and vendors that get together to share their products while having a great time! And Miami’s new flea market in the Arts & Entertainment District is a wonderful addition to the list of events that give exposure to the spectacular talents and work of locals. Miami Flea made its way into the scene in August, so it’s a fresh new take on a vintage experience.

We were eager to see what the hype was all about… and we were not disappointed! There were plenty of vendors who had set up their tents showcasing either handmade craft goods or carefully curated and unique items that are the bread and butter of a thrifting experience. And most importantly, the collective spirit of all the vendors! It was an ideal event to mingle and make connections with fellow vendors, further establishing the sense of community that’s at the heart of these events.

Even though Thrifter’s tent wasn’t up, our experience was nothing less than enjoyable. We are definitely looking forward to attending the coming Miami Flea Market event as a vendor. And we hope to see you all there! Stay tuned for more announcements on dates and time.
